ree

Held from 7–9 August 2025, KragDag brought together thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors for an extraordinary festival of sustainable living, independence, and community engagement.

What Made It Special:

  • Heart of Self-Reliance: The expo remains one of South Africa’s most significant platforms for self-sufficiency—showcasing renewable energy, agricultural innovations, water solutions, DIY technologies, education, and entrepreneurship. KragDagProAgri Media

  • Rich Variety of Exhibits: With thematic areas spanning energy, safety, education, craftsmanship, livestock, and outdoor gear, attendees had access to a wide range of life-enhancing solutions. Notably, the Agriculture Sub-Expo (in partnership with TLU SA) featured modern farming tech and livestock insights. ProAgri MediaKragDag

  • Engaging Attractions for All: Visitors enjoyed interactive demonstrations, competition arenas, beer gardens with live performances by emerging artists, and educational sessions in the Kopskuif Studio. The Junior Entrepreneur competition brought youthful energy to the mix—over 50 young innovators participated. ProAgri MediaKragDag

  • Community & Culture: Beyond the exhibits, the expo fostered conversations, hope, and a proactive spirit—with empowering talks and shared learning shaping a sense of community and purpose. farm.co.zaProAgri Media

  • Built for Legacy: This year’s theme, “Build a Legacy”, reflected KragDag’s long-term vision of empowering individuals and communities to pass on skills, resilience, and freedom to future generations. farm.co.zaProAgri Media

  • Powered and Ready: Behind the scenes, MAINSU, in collaboration with GPH, ensured the entire event ran smoothly—powering the entire exhibition from start to finish

Why It Matters:

In a time when ordinary systems falter—be it energy, water, or public infrastructure—KragDag offered more than exhibits: it offered answers. The expo creates a space where inhabitants choose to be solution-seekers, innovators, and do-ers rather than bystanders.

Overall, KragDag 2025 wasn’t just an expo—it was a movement of empowerment, creativity, and community resilience.
